Common questions

What It Costs to Get It Sorted

Is the quote really free?

Yes, completely free. Someone comes out, has a proper look, and works out a fixed price before anything gets touched. If you decide not to go ahead once you've heard it, you won't be charged for the visit.

What does "from $89" actually include?

That figure covers a simple, single-fixture blockage cleared with our standard gear. Anything more involved, like a full sewer line or a second access point, gets a fixed quote on the spot before we start any work.

What does "$65 off your first service" cover?

New customers get this discount taken straight off the invoice on their first booking with us, no minimum spend and no fine print. It applies whether the job is a simple clear or something bigger.

What discounts do you offer?

Beyond the $65 off your first service, there's also a free CCTV inspection with any jet blast, a free plumbing check when a job runs to $200 or more, a premium garden tap thrown in once a paid job wraps up, and a 20% seniors discount. More than one of these can apply to the same booking.

Common questions

Licensing, Insurance and Responsibility

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our plumbers and gas fitters are fully qualified, we hold NSW plumbing licence #465156C, and every job we take on is fully insured.

Do wipes really block drains?

Mostly, yes. Wipes marketed as flushable hold together far longer than paper once wet, and they catch on the first rough pipe joint they meet. Once one snags, more debris gathers behind it until the pipe blocks completely.

What is your lifetime labour warranty?

Our lifetime labour warranty is exactly that: unconditional, and it never lapses. If a repair we did needs attention again, we take care of the callout and the fix ourselves, and you're never billed for either.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

A plunger or some hot water handles a simple, single-fixture clog well enough. Once it's a deeper blockage or a repeat problem, NSW rules mean the job has to go to a licensed tradesperson, both for safety and to actually fix it.

Common questions

How Fast We Get to You

What happens after I call?

A real person answers straight away, not a call centre. We talk through what's going on, get a rough picture of the job, and lock in a time that works for you, often the same day.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9023 2087 to lock in a time on the spot, or pop your number into our callback form and one of the team will phone you shortly after.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, we're rostered on all seven days, including public holidays. There's no closed sign on this business, ever.

How fast can you get here?

Most jobs here get a same-day visit, and we're on call 24/7 for anything urgent.

Common questions

The Waitara Questions

Do you handle strata and units?

Yes. This suburb has a strong mix of houses and apartment blocks, especially near the station, so we work with owners, tenants and strata managers on single homes and multi-unit buildings alike.

Do tree roots cause many blockages around Waitara?

Waitara's older streets carry plenty of mature trees, and their roots are a regular reason a drain blocks here, especially into ageing clay pipe joints. Autumn leaf fall from the same trees adds to it, clogging gutters and gully pits until the next clear-out.

How local are you, really?

Edgeworth David Avenue is one of the streets our vans are on often, and most new Waitara customers hear about us the same way, a neighbour who mentioned us after a job, sometimes over a drink at the Blue Gum Hotel on the Pacific Highway.

Can you handle new builds and renovations here?

Yes. The mix here runs from Federation-era homes to newer apartment towers built since the 2000s near the station, and we handle both, from new stormwater lines to older clay pipework uncovered during a renovation.
